Garden Critters - Day 2

Wow! What a day! To start off our day, we learned about flowers plant cells and functions. It is a good thing Blithewold has so many beautiful gardens and flowers for us to look at. We were even given a special tour by one of Blithewold's vegetable gardeners! She showed us all the different varieties of veggies in the garden and we even got to sample ground cheries...never saw those at the supermarket!

After all that flower power, it was time for a game of camoflauge, a big kids version of hide and seek in the enclosed garden. We can even hide under Giant Sequoia trees!

Back to camp we went for craft time. Todays projects ... yarn flowers and seed paper!

What is your favorite flower?
